About Us
The “founders” - Claire (Craile) & Grace (Gracers)
Claire and Grace met at the University of Virginia, became friends in Kyoto, Japan, then somehow ended up at the same consulting firm and picked up the same hobby. Oh, we also were robbed in Belize at gunpoint together. That’s a story for when you meet us.

How it all started
This whole blog idea started with Angee’s E-mail to Grace on an October morning”We’ve [Angee and her boyfriend Phil] been thinking and we would like to have some professional photos taken of us with our dog and maybe one of our horses at the Algonkian Park across the street from our house, preferably sometime while the leaves are still changing colors. I’m not sure if you do this type of thing. If you do or are interested, let me know how much you would charge and when you could do it.”
We realized, you CAN do things you love and possibly pay some bills along the way. This blog has given us the opportunity to build up our portfolio and we’re loving the experience.

Loun-Loun (L2)
I met Grace and Claire while working at above noted consulting firm. I’m also a UVA grad, just on a different timeline. I encouraged Grace to get her first DSLR, and the rest is history.
When I’m not busy finding good food to eat in the DC Metro area, I can be found shopping, vacationing in exotic countries, and volunteering my time and photography skills for organizations such as The Leukemia and Lymphoma Light the Night and The DC Asian Pacific American Film Festival.
I love fun shoes, great sushi, and memorable adventures (like growing and donating 10+ inches of hair to Locks of Love).
